EXTRUSION
In sheet extrusion, plastic granules are melted and a thermoplastic sheet is formed under pressure through a die. After the cooling process, the sheet is rolled up. Polypropylene (PP) and polystyrene (PS) are processed using this technology.
THERMOFORM
After the winding process, the sheet is fed into a thermoforming machine and heated. Inside the mold, the thermo-elastic sheet is pre-formed with felt, pressed into the mold with compressed air, cooled, and cut. The cups are removed and stacked. This technology is used for the production of cups, lids, and bowls.
DRY OFFSET PRINTING
With dry offset printing, cups and lids are processed after molding. The most advanced printing machines allow up to seven colors of printing diversity. Thanks to indirect printing, printing inks are applied to a rubber blanket as wet ink and transferred to the cup or lid.
